Rudis Sylva is the independent Swiss Haute Horlogerie Maison that works alongside Tayrona Capital. Its atelier and its invention are its own, and its materials are secured at the source.
For two decades the Maison has been defined by a single uncompromising idea, the Harmonious Oscillator, an architectural answer to gravity unlike anything watchmaking has attempted since the tourbillon. That heritage belongs to Rudis Sylva. What Tayrona Capital brings is the origin of its gemstones and precious metals, and the discipline of a Group that answers for every stage from the earth to the atelier door.

Everything the Maison creates answers to three disciplines, held together as a single standard.
The Harmonious Oscillator counters gravity in the vertical position. Two interlinked toothed balances, driven by a single escapement, form a system unique in the world, their asymmetric springs delivering instantaneous average correction against its pull.
Gemstones are selected to high jewellery standards and drawn exclusively from Tayrona Capital’s origin network, their provenance governed rather than assumed. Reserved for Rudis Sylva alone, each stone is treated as structure, integrated into the identity, architecture, and presence of the timepiece.
From mine to movement, every standard stays coherent. Extraction, selection, cutting and setting are governed within a single ecosystem, and nothing is outsourced. The result is traceability, transparency, and a model built to return lasting value to the communities at its source.
A conventional tourbillon turns the escapement slowly through every position, averaging out gravity across a full minute. The Harmonious Oscillator does not wait. Two toothed balances, interlinked and driven by a single escapement, correct one another at every oscillation.
The result is continuous compensation in place of gradual averaging, a quiet, structural answer to the oldest problem in mechanical timekeeping. It is the idea the Maison was built on, and the reason it stands apart among independents.
Through Tayrona Capital’s origin network, Rudis Sylva draws on gemstones and precious metals sourced within a single, governed ecosystem. Colombian emeralds, diamonds and sapphires lead a wider palette of rare stones, each set in fully traceable gold.
Selected to high jewellery standards and reserved for the Maison’s own creations, each stone is treated as structure rather than ornament, integrated into the architecture of the timepiece and answerable to a documented origin.
Provenance is governed, not assumed.
Most houses source their gold and stones from outside, certifying an origin only after it has arrived. Rudis Sylva does not. With Tayrona Capital at the source, every stage from raw extraction to finished movement is kept to one standard, and the chain is never handed off.
Because no stage is handed off, the Maison can answer for each one. Traceability is not a claim added at the end but a condition of how the work is done. The value that work creates returns to the ground it came from. It is not drawn away.
